"Preparing and Positioning People for the Promises of God"

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the DOCTRINE; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee (1 Timothy 4:16).

We believe that the doctrine of God is critical both for personal salvation and the ministry of reconciliation according to the Scriptures. The doctrine of God is simply the will of God as expressed in the Word of God .

ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God according to the Scriptures. The Word of God is infallible and contains no contradictions whatsoever.

For I am not ashamed of THE GOSPEL of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16).

We believe that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes according to the Scriptures. The gospel is the good news of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that brings reconciliation between God and man (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD; so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).

We believe in God’s eternal power and Godhead and that it is comprised of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost according to the Scriptures. We believe that all the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwelt in the man Christ Jesus. Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” We believe that Jesus Christ was both God and man according to the Scriptures. We also believe that there is nothing too hard for God (Genesis 18:14), or impossible with God. (Luke 1:37). Therefore, He has the power to reveal Himself in an unlimited number of ministerial manifestations in order to supply our need. Therefore, we acknowledge and honor God the Father in creation, the Son of God in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in sanctification, knowing and understanding that these three agree in one (1 John 5:8).

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory (1 Timothy 3:16).

We believe that God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:24) who manifest Himself in the flesh in the person of His Son Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures. 2Corinthians 5:19b, “…God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.” Isaiah 45:21a, “For I am the LORD thy God, THE HOLY ONE of Israel…”

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is THE SON OF GOD, God dwelleth in him, and he in God (1 John 4:15).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-35) according to the Scriptures. Isaiah 45:21b, 22, “…there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you…But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:18,26).“

We believe that the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Christ according to the Scriptures. Just as God is a Spirit and Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, the Holy Ghost is Jesus manifest in the Spirit. John 14:21,26a, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will MANIFEST myself to him….But the Comforter, which is THE HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in my name…”

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:15, 16).

We believe that water baptism is a key step of salvation according to the Scriptures. We baptize in water by full immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in accordance to the command of Peter in Acts 2:38 (which fulfills the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:19). The obedience of Christ to water baptism at the beginning of His earthly ministry, and His command to baptize “all nations” at the end of His earthly ministry underscores its NECESSITY. Also, the immediate baptism of the both the eunuch in the middle of the desert (Acts 8:35-38), and the Philippian jailor in the middle of the night underscores its URGENCY (Acts 16:27-33).

“For John truly baptized with water; but YE SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST not many days hence…But ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:5,8).

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost as promised by Jesus to all His believers according to the Scriptures. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Christ who indwells and empowers us to live a life of sanctification and holiness. Every believer should be filled with the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost according to the Scriptures. Every believer should experience “speaking with other tongues” as the Spirit gives utterance as a sign of God’s infilling (Mark 16:17) and for self-edification (1 Corinthians 14:4). 1Corinthians 14:5a,39b, ”I would that ye all spake with tongues…forbid not to speak with tongues.” Hence, every believer should earnestly seek and expect to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost along with the accompanying sign of “speaking with other tongues.”

Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

We believe that we have been called unto a lifestyle of holiness according to the Scriptures. 1Thessalonians 4:7, “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.” Leviticus 11:44a, “For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy…”

I will WORSHIP toward thy holy temple, and PRAISE thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name (Psalms 138:2).

We believe that God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3), and that the Father is seeking for true worshipers (John 4:23) according to the Scriptures. Praise and worship along with the music that we play is essential for creating an atmosphere that is conducive to God’s presence.

Now concerning SPIRITUAL GIFTS, brethren, I would not have you ignorant…But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to PROFIT withal (1 Corinthians 12:1,7).

We believe that the edification of the body of Christ comes from the dispensation of spiritual gifts according to the Scriptures. Every believer has been given a certain degree or measure of gifts to work in the kingdom of God. Hence, it is our responsibility to identify and to develop the spiritual gifts that God has placed within his people.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

We believe that there is a kingdom of darkness that opposes the kingdom of light according to the Scriptures. God has given unto us power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of HEALING (Luke 9:11).

We believe in divine healing according to the Scriptures. This includes both the physical and spiritual man. Psalms 41:4 “I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: HEAL MY SOUL; for I have sinned against thee.” Acts 5:16, “There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were HEALED every one.”
